Not just a yoga teacher but also a trained massage therapist, Karen has been doing yoga since she was an Economics student 15 years ago, first as a way of keeping fit, then as a way of managing her stress.
One quarter-life reassesment later (do we call them crises when they come so early?) she chucked in her day job in favour of wearing stretchy pants and making people happier, calmer, and more productive.
Karen is a lifelong student: apart from completing first a 200 hour then a 500 hour teacher training, as well as extra studies in anatomy, she studied massage to understand more about how bodies - all kinds, not just the super-bendy ones - work.
She uses her knowledge in her classes to get you stretched, fit, and strong without losing your breath; you’ll get to explore different ways of moving in her classes, with a different spin to the traditional yoga poses
Karen does a great line in guided relaxations and when not heading up mm...yoga! can sometimes be found looking at funny cat pictures on the internet.
