Turmeric Cashew Milk

I know I've talked before about the benefits of turmeic - the superfood of herbs, it's sometimes called. I'm pretty keen on it, because seriously people, I was sick too much last year. 

My immune system needs all the help it can get! 

Plus I'm into just about anything that make me feel like I am showing my insides some love.

So how about this yumminess from Rooted London (how we adore her) found on the Free People Blog:


(Powerful anti-inflammatory effects and a very strong antioxidant)

250 ml homemade cashew milk

3 cm fresh turmeric root

1 cm fresh ginger root

1 teaspoon raw honey (organic and wild if possible)

Juice the turmeric and ginger through a juicer and then pour through the milk again and again until the colour of the milk is a mellow yellow color. The ginger and turmeric juice needs a bit of filtering through the juicer so by doing this, you get all of the goodness out. In a blender, blend the milk with the raw honey. Voila.
