Monique gave yoga a try while exploring ways to improve her own wellbeing and found that it gave her a break from her busy mind and helped to undo the effects of a desk job. 

Monique is particularly fascinated with the link between movement and mood. She has a background in psychology and physiology, and has also taught swing dance for many years.

Monique’s passion for wellbeing infuses into her work both teaching yoga and as a student enrichment coordinator at Melbourne University, and tutor in positive psychology.

She has a strong desire to assist others to find their own forms of self care and sees yoga as a perfect space to share this.
