Making Space: Creating a Home Meditation Practice

I mentioned last week that I read (and loved) Thich Nhat Hanh's book, Making Space, Creating a Home Meditation Practice.

There's SO much floating around about mindfulness these days and I must confess I find some of it, okay, quite a lot of it, just not accessible. Yes, it's a trained skill, but you know what else? It's OK if sometimes you just zone out. That self-compassion helps you not block yourself from starting again, rejigging your attention into the present moment.

This book is simple and oozing compassion. Plus, Hanh has a deft poetic hand.  Here are some gathas from the book, which I made up in a pretty font so you can download them, print them and pop them around the house (or your desk) as a reminder.

I've found them SO useful. Hi-res PDF files in the member's lounge!
