Teaching our kids (and ourselves) to be happy and healthy.

Karen put me on to this great TEDx talk from a 13-year-old boy, who is being 'unschooled', on the things he believes are really important to a person's education - and the things that are missing.

Turns out they are they same things:

  • Exercise
  •  Diet and Nutrition
  •  Time in Nature
  •  Contribution and Service
  •  Relationships
  •  Relaxation and Stress Management
  • Religious and Spiritual Involvement

I like the idea of learning life skills like this as a kid - I sure wish I had.
